Tayto Park have announced they are opening Ireland’s first ever Kids Driving School thanks to teaming up with Nissan. The facility will consist of 1,000-metre sq track giving kids the chance to learn the rules of the road while testing their driving skills purpose-built, road marked traffic course. Little drivers will also be awarded their own special driving licence
Driving schools for under 18’s and kids are not uncommon in other European countries such as Germany and the UK. According to figures from the Road Safety Authority, learner drivers on Irish roads were involved in 5.8% of fatal crashes from 2014-2017.
Tayto Park is reopening its doors to the public from the 18th of March with their latest attraction sure to be a big hit for visitors.
