The ever popular Oktoberfest is making its return to Dublin next month. The beer extravaganza will run for a whopping 18 days from Thursday September 14th until October 1st. As per previous years the venue will take place at George’s Dock right beside the IFSC.
As usual there will be an traditional German musical entertainment along with mouth watering food including Bratwurst, Burgundian Ham, Sauerkraut and not forgetting the giant half and 1 litre Stein beers. There will also be wine, prosecco and soft drinks if you prefer.
Oktoberfest Dublin will have free admission from Sunday to Thursday each week of the festival. Tickets priced at €10 will be needed if you’re planning on heading down on a Friday or Saturday. The ticket does come with a voucher for a Germanic meal so is great value. Tables in the main marquee are available to book for a fee and from previous visits this is the best option to guarantee a great evening.
