'Ireland's Best Takeaway' 2018 Unveiled

And The Winner Is…

The 2018 Just Eat National Takeaway Awards took place in South Anne Street’s Number Twenty Two venue last night with the plat de la resistance of the evening going to Ballymun’s finest Pizza Restaurant Firehouse Pizza ultimately crowned as the Just Eat ‘Best Takeaway Ireland’ 2018.

Shortlisted representatives from all over Ireland joined Just Eat to applaud the best takeaway restaurants and dishes in the country, as voted for by customers, and to find out who would be crowned Just Eat ‘Best Takeaway Ireland’ 2018!

After a nationwide voting campaign calling for fast-food lovers to vote for their fave eatery, across 22 different categories, the event culminated with with whole host of happy takeaway owners featuring new additions to the 2018 edition including ‘Best Takeaway Vegetarian’ and ‘Best Takeaway Middle Eastern’, won by Umi Falafel, Dame Street and Zaytoon, Camden Street respectively.

The event was hosted by Irish presenter Cassie Stokes and singer/songwriter Jake Carter, (Nathan’s brother!)

The diversity of choice all around Ireland’s takeaway sector saw winners emerge from all corners of Ireland with the Capital’s Firehouse Pizza taking home the top gong on the night.

The pizza restaurant was named the ‘Best Takeaway in Ireland’ as well as ‘Best Takeaway in Dublin’ and ‘Best Takeaway Pizza’.. we don’t know about you, but we’re absolutely starvin’ after reading all that!
