Conor McGregor was in town last night attending the BAMMA and Bellator event in the 3 arena. Never one to shy away from the limelight, the Notorious ended up making all the headlines and overshadowing the entire event in the process.
The UFC champ and his crew were ringside to show their support for fellow fighter Charlie ‘The Relentless’ Ward.
Ward claimed victory over John Redmond by way of a 1st round K.O much to the delight of McGregor who was filmed scaling the cage to embrace his pal in the octagon. Referee Marc Goddard didn’t take too kindly to the interruption, shoving Conor out of the way. A fracas ensued with the Dublin crowd cheering and egging him on.
Another clip emerged which appeared to show McGregor slapping an event official. Goddard was the referee who ordered the Crumlin fighter to sit down during training partner Artem Lobov’s bout at UFC 118 in Poland last month.
With his Notorious film hitting cinemas last week and his UFC return in the coming months, McGregor will be firmly in the spotlight as usual.
