Businesses Open Up For The Homeless During Ophelia

We’re all being urged to stay indoors as Ophelia arrives later today. However for the homeless people of Ireland today’s weather will prove to be particularly dangerous. In a tremendous act of kindness several businesses and communities have opened up and offered shelter and food throughout the day.

Caring For Cork’s Homeless teamed up with the 3 Little Piggy’s coffee shop to offer the county’s homeless people shelter, food & drink and some rest. There will also be a shuttle bus to Togher Boxing Club to avail of showers, food and warm clothes.

Fantastic that our homeless are being welcomed here at 3 Little Piggies where they can get some food and drinks and rest…
